The challenge to shape the minds of youth coming from the rural sections of the society has been accepted for the last 64 years and the college is striving to sharpen and brighten the rural talent. Hon. Shrimant Pratap Shethji a millowner benevolent leader and committed social worker understood that there is a necessity of establishing full-fledged educational institution as panacea to attain all-round development of people. He along with his dedicated and determined stalwarts founded the Pratap College in 1945.
